Approved firms and invited users

This workspace is operated by Apogee Ventures. Access is provided to approved accounting firms and their authorized users through private setup or invitation processes. Public self-registration is not available. Contact sortly@apogeeventures.ca to discuss firm access. Do not send client documents with an initial enquiry.

What the service does

rectify is a revenue and expense compilation tool for accounting firms. It supports Canadian accounting preparation from supported statements, spreadsheets and supporting evidence. It retains originals, helps organize transactions and questions, and produces reviewable Excel working papers and PDF summaries.

Reading and import checks depend on the document type. Unsupported, incomplete or ambiguous sources may require a compatible export or manual review. Optional AI reading has separate permissions and provider processing. Support for one bank’s example does not mean every product, account or historical layout from that institution is supported.

Professional review remains required

Your firm remains responsible for lawful authority to supply records, account assignments, completeness, business purpose, accounting treatment, tax decisions and approval. Check source rows and cents, dates, currency, balances, exclusions and unresolved items against the originals.

Outputs are preparation materials, not a filed tax return, audit opinion or substitute for professional judgment. A balanced subtotal or green check applies to the named check only. Optional AI suggestions do not approve a transaction or a preparation.

Firm agreement and commercial arrangements

This page describes the service; it does not set a price, grant a subscription, accept an order or replace a signed firm agreement. Before commercial onboarding, agree the operating business identity, permitted data and users, service scope, fees and any AI charges, retention, support, export and offboarding arrangements in writing.

No online checkout, automatic billing or public sign-up is offered here. Ask for the written offer and applicable firm terms before committing. Any commercial terms will be supplied for your firm to review before onboarding.

Availability and support

The current release is intended for a controlled rollout to approved firms. It has a single-host availability boundary and does not provide a published uptime guarantee or 24-hour support commitment. Monitoring and backup verification do not remove that limitation.

Agree service hours and recovery expectations before relying on the workspace for deadlines. Keep the original client records under your firm’s own control. Native Excel recalculation and print output, representative institution layouts and each firm’s preparation results still require acceptance in that firm’s environment.

Safe use and access

Use your own account, secure your device, and do not share authenticator keys or passwords. Grant access only to the staff and clients who need it, and revoke access when it is no longer appropriate.

Do not upload material you lack authority to process, use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to access another firm’s information, or bypass security or approval controls. Report a suspected access or security issue promptly through the support contact.
